Ground Control is available to host karaoke for YOUR private event!

Featuring state-of-the-art audiovisual displays, our signature selection of alternative karaoke tracks, and a 900W mobile amplified sound system, Ground Control is ready to rock your party! We have several options to choose from, and you can tailor your cost to fit your needs and budget. Whether it's a private birthday or anniversary, or an employee morale booster party for your small or large company, we can create a package structure to suit your needs.

Pricing takes into account several factors. Are we providing amplified sound, or you or the venue be providing your own for us to play back through? Will we need to bring a table and chair for the equipment, or will those be provided? In the case of a large group (100+ attendees), would you like us to provide an additional host to streamline the process? These are all factors to keep in mind when booking your party.

SERVICE: A karaoke operator is required. We do not provide stand-alone equipment. The operator will arrive at an agreed upon time, set up all the requested gear and provide KJ services throughout the event. The operator will break down the equipment post-event in a timely and professional manner. The operator will be attired appropriate to previously agreed apon dress parameters. If formal attire is required (tuxedo, etc.), rental cost will be included in the package price. Service price includes the "basic karaoke package" listed below.

If we can set up our gear immediately before the start of karaoke and break down immediately after the contracted end of karaoke, you will NOT be billed for those times. If we need to set up more than an hour in advance of the start of the event, or need to wait for more than 20 minutes after the end of the event, a reasonable surcharge will be incurred.

Rate - basic services: $65 per hour, three (3) hour minimum.

BASIC KARAOKE PACKAGE:
This is the minimum, typical rig required for a karaoke party.

• Laptop and essential peripherals for KJ / DJ operation, all necessary cables
  
• Two (2) performance-quality vocal microphones, and XLR microphone cables
  
• Four (4) printed song books, plus pens and printed song tickets
  
• One (1) LCD flat monitor for karaoke lyric display
  

This package assumes the client will provide a venue with an adequate amplified sound system. Our contract will also detail such things as power requirements for the venue.

AMPLIFIED SOUND: If amplified sound is also required, Ground Control will provide an HK Elias professional sound system for an additional fee. This is a self-amplified sound system with two bass speaker cabinets atop which rest small satellite cabinets containing high- and mid-range speakers. This also includes a basic multichannel audio mixer, and all the required cables to connect the complete system. The system comfortably provides up to 900 watts of amplified sound. We believe in the "less is more" approach to karaoke sound, and performance volumes are set and capped at the discretion of the operator / KJ. Levels ARE negotiable with the hiring party, to provide a satisfactory sound experience.

Rate - amplified sound rental: $25 per hour, three (3) hour minimum.
